Overview
Alasco offers the opportunity to digitise financial processes in construction and real estate projects. This also includes a interface to DATEV Unternehmen online, through which you can transfer your digital invoices from Alasco directly to your tax advisor.
In this article, we explain how you can set up the interface from Alasco to DATEV Unternehmen online. In the article Working with the DATEV Interface, you can read about how the interface works in practice.

Prerequisites
Before the interface between DATEV and Alasco can be activated, the following products in addition to the Alasco account are needed:
A DATEV Unternehmen online account:
Either your tax advisor or you can apply for this on behalf of your company. The requirements as well as a detailed guide can be found in the DATEV help center.The DATEV service Rechnungsdatenservice 1.0 (Invoice Data Service 1.0):
To transfer your data from Alasco to DATEV, you need the Rechnungsdatenservice 1.0. You can purchase the service directly from the DATEV shop. Afterwards, you will receive a SmartCard or your SmartLogin, with which you can log in to DATEV Unternehmen online via duo.datev.de.
Setting up the interface by your tax advisor
If you have your DATEV Unternehmen online account and have purchased the two DATEV services, the interface can be set up. The following settings can only be made by your tax advisor.
DATEV Unternehmen online compact must be deactivated.
It is necessary that your tax advisor registers you as a client for DATEV Unternehmen online. If you manage several clients, they will be merged under a common DATEV login. DATEV provides the appropriate form for this. Assistance can be found at the following link.
The document management must be activated.
The processing mode in DATEV Unternehmen online must be set to "Advanced" by your tax advisor or by you, provided your tax advisor has granted you the necessary rights. Only then can the error-free exchange of digital documents between Alasco and DATEV be ensured.
The financial years must be activated by your tax advisor. DATEV recommends creating a storage folder for each financial year.
If separate bookings are to be created for different VAT rates within an invoice, your tax advisor can adjust the invoice data interface in Belege online. This is done under “Documents” → “Settings” → “Advanced Settings” → “Configure Advanced Settings” by selecting the option “A booking proposal should be created for each item of the invoice (gross)” in the right tab “Invoice Data Interface”.
In the final step, it is necessary that your tax advisor assigns the corresponding rights in DATEV to each user who is to work with DATEV in Alasco. The permissions must be set both for DATEV Unternehmen online and for the Rechnungsdatenservice 1.0. Only then is a smooth transfer of invoices from Alasco to DATEV ensured. Users with restricted access rights usually have to be assigned the settings for the Invoice Data Service 1.0 separately.
