What is the MCP server?
The Alasco MCP (Model Context Protocol) server offers a new, advanced way to integrate Alasco into your existing system landscape. This integration provides improved file handling capabilities and exceeds the current features of the Public API.
Microsoft Copilot Studio integration
You can now connect Alasco directly to Microsoft Copilot Studio. This allows you to build custom intelligent assistants directly within your Microsoft 365 (M365) environment that interact with your Alasco project data.
Configuring permissions and tools
When setting up the connection, you have full control over the access level. You can select specific tools and actions to be available for the connection. This allows you to create a safe, read-only option if desired.
- Open the MCP server connection settings.
- Select the desired tools and actions.
- Save the configuration to apply the permissions.
Completing invoice workflows
Using the MCP server, you can now actively complete tasks in the invoice workflow. This enables deeper automation of your approval processes directly through your connected systems.
