Support for multiple usage types (Project Units)
Project calculations now support multiple usage types (Project Units) instead of just one total value. This allows you to model and analyze different areas of your project in detail.
Version overview and version comparison
In the version overview, if at least one version is multi-usage, KPIs for all versions are displayed using the total value to ensure comparability.
When using the version comparison, the following rules apply:
- Comparing a single-unit version against a multi-usage version automatically uses the total value.
- Comparing two multi-usage versions allows you to choose between the total value and individual usage types.
Sensitivity analysis
The sensitivity analysis now respects the selected usage type for multi-usage projects, allowing for more precise analyses of specific project areas.
Excel export
You can trigger an asynchronous Excel export directly from the project calculation toolbar.
- Open Plan in the sidebar and select Project calculation.
- Click on Export in the toolbar.
- The asynchronous export generates an Excel workbook with four sheets (Cover, Calculation, Assumptions, and KPIs). This file contains live formulas and supports both single and multi-unit calculations.
Transferring to the execution phase
You can request to move an appraisal calculation to the execution phase.
- Open Plan in the sidebar and select Project calculation.
- Click on the version actions menu.
- Select Move to execution.
- The calculation is marked as 'transfer-in-progress'.
Note:
This action is limited to one request per project opportunity.
