How do I use the Cost Benchmarks (Beta)?

What are the cost benchmarks?

With the Cost benchmarks, you can quickly create development calculations in Alasco, even if you are still missing data. In addition, existing estimates from internal and external sources, such as planners or public references, can be easily checked for plausibility.

Filtering cost benchmarks

To use this feature, open Benchmarks.

1. Select the desired parameters such as usage type, region, cost group, and quarter using the filter chips. You can select any top-level cost group from 200 to 700.
2. The results will then be displayed as reference values.

When selecting a cost group outside of 300 and 400, you can adjust the display format:

1. Select €/m² to view the absolute cost per square meter.
2. Select Ratio to view the cost of the selected cost group relative to the sum of cost groups 300 and 400.

Generating an AI estimate

You can further detail the benchmark results by generating a one-click AI estimate for an individual project.

1. Click the corresponding button in the evaluation to generate the AI estimate.
2. The AI analyzes the data and adapts the reference values specifically to your project.

Viewing the refinement history

In the new benchmark history, you can refer back to past refinements and AI estimates. This gives you access to previously calculated results and the original filters and input prompts used at any time.

1. Open Benchmarks in the sidebar.
2. Switch to the history area.
3. Select a previous entry to check the result calculated at the time, including the original scope.
4. Click the corresponding button to reuse a past prompt directly with the filters applied at the time.

Providing feedback

Since the feature is still under development, you can submit feedback on the cost benchmarks directly in Alasco. This helps to continuously improve the database.

1. Select the feedback function in the benchmark view.
2. Enter your comments on the displayed values and submit them.
