Extracting contract terms with AI
Using artificial intelligence, you can automatically extract contract terms such as cash discounts, deductions, and cost allocations from uploaded contract documents and prefill them as unsaved changes. To do this, proceed as follows:
- Open Costs in the sidebar.
- Click on Contracts and select the desired contract.
- Switch to the Documents tab and click on Add document to upload your contract file.
- Then, switch to the Contract terms tab.
- The AI processes the document and automatically inserts the recognized terms as unsaved changes on the screen.
- Review the suggested values, adjust them if necessary, and save the changes.
Warning in the invoice workflow
To prevent errors during invoice approval, the system compares the saved contract terms with the uploaded contract documents.
If the system detects during the invoice workflow that the contract terms do not match the uploaded contract documents or are missing, a warning will automatically be displayed on the invoice. This allows you to correct discrepancies in a timely manner.
